What is an instant?
A precise moment in time, according to the dictionary. A second, a twinkling, a flash. But, how long is an instant? Do they all last the same? Or, does the duration depend on individual perception? “The Flow” attempts to capture the contrast between stillness and movement in what could be called a long instant. The man on the right is lost in thought and oblivious to the crowd in front of him and, in turn, the crowd - the mass, literally- ignores him as if they were in different time spaces.
